2. I was a peripheral participant in late FFnet/LJ-era fandom. I wrote mostly gen-fic focused on Merry Brandybuck from LOTR. I never really found a tribe in the LOTR fandom because I don't really have an OTP and didn't like the vibe of the Gatekeeper communities where my
3. I mostly skipped Tumblr fandom: Strikethrough happened at the same time as some major changes in my life and I lost touch. However, when news of Tumblr's NSFW ban broke, I discovered a number of good anti-censorship tumblrs and got a crash course in some of the disappointing developments that have been going on in some fandoms in the last ~5 years.
4. So, I guess I'm here to see what happens? To affirm my stance against censorship? To maybe even write something? I do have a plotbunny for what is probably the least popular ship in the GOT fandom (or any fandom, really). I hate what the show has become, so pissing most of its fans off via fic is sort of appealing...
